Summer brings children's laughter throughout the gardens and beach trails, lawn games, late night campfires with “S'Mores,” lazy afternoons in lawn chairs or the hammock, and picking berries ripened by warm summer sun in the gardens.

In the fall, the whales turn south again, warm days and nights of Indian Summer are perfect for barbeques at the campfire, berry picking, day-time adventures in the cove and the redwoods nearby, and just lazing around the gardens and the Great Room watching the glow of the sunset over the Pacific.
